The BDO franchise has been involved in Guernsey cricket for a number of years. Always keen to show innovation, the company bought into the idea of owning a GPL 2011 Franchise as soon as it was presented to them.
Always good with numbers, the bosses at BDO spent GCB$6m on Stuart Le Prevost, the current Guenrsey captain. The only one of the four captains not to call himself an alrounder, Stuart thrives when batting in the middle. BDO have got a pace bowler who can clear any boundary with a bat in his hand. Known on the county circuit as a true quickie he will be looking to make early in roads in to his opponents and take all the way to the trophy. James Kirtley played his entire career at Sussex, and took the man of the match award in his first test match for England, beating South Africa at Trent Bridge in 2003.
